Glass Notepad!!

Hey guys, I've got a neat little mod for windows here, it's Glass Notepad!!

It's the same exact notepad but a sleek new look. (Requires Aero)

You can download it right here at Deviantart.
It can be run right from where you download it to or you can replace it in windows,
located at C:\Windows\notepad.exe

Word to the wise, make a backup copy of the original, such as "notepad old".exe

If you cannot rename notepad.exe, that's because the computer thinks you don't own it and it's harmful if you change the name, which it isn't.

You can fix that by running the file in here, Add Take Ownership Option.rar
Then just right click notepad.exe and Take the Ownership of this File.

Done!

  14. seems like it would make it harder to use effectively though, i prefer solid black on white when writing personally, or white on black for that matter.

  15. Glad to see Windows is finally catching up to Linux. First the rotating cube, and now a transparent notepad. Very nice.
